BLOG: Tamashii Web Exclusive – THE ROBOT SPIRITS <Side MS> Nightingale

With everyone already tired of these "Ver. A.N.I.M.E." releases, it’s no surprise that many were glad when Tamashii Nations announced this ‘regular figure’ in THE ROBOT SPIRITS line. Any by no stretch can anyone consider this a regular figure. Years after releasing the Hi-Nu Gundam in both THE ROBOT SPIRITS and THE METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line, Tamashii Nations finally decided to give it an enemy.

No details have been revealed so far though come September 4 as of this post, Tamashii Nations is expected to drop more information regarding this figure. And yes, this is a web exclusive for those who aren’t used to these stuff.

BLOG: THE ROBOT SPIRITS <Side PB> "Tetsukyojin"

ROBOT SPIRITS <Side PB> "Tetsukyojin" Once in a while, Tamashii Nations releases a new figure under THE ROBOT SPIRITS line that is not a Ver. A.N.I.M.E. release (yes, this has been the state of the line for the time being). This time around, starting a new sub-line as well with the introduction of the (i.e. Panzer Blade) coming from the Panzer World Galient franchise.

Opening the sub-line is Tetsukyojin (tr. Iron Giant) from the Panzer World Galient OVA which is a different retelling of the story. This version of Galient has no transformation features and so the figure boasts great range of articulation coupled with its signature weaponry. Gimmicks include florescent paint applications that glow under UV light.

Tamashii Nations "DARLING in the FRANXX" Releases As previously mentioned, Tamashii Nations has revealed their initial wave of releases covering the DARLING in the FRANXX. There weren’t much, but they what they have is probably what everyone wanted in the initial wave.

THE ROBOT SPIRITS <Side FRANXX> Strelizia has been announced, but displayed along with it is <Side FRANXX> Delphinium as well. Also on display were their respective Pistils or the negative side of their dual pilot system. Namely Zero Two and Ichigo, both part of the S.H.Figuarts line.

BLOG: THE ROBOT SPIRITS Strelizia – Colored Prototype Shots

THE ROBOT SPIRITS Strelizia - Colored Prototype Shots AnimeJapan 2018 is going to happen this weekend at Tokyo Big Sight and early news suggests that Tamashii Nations will be revealing their prototype shots of THE ROBOT SPIRITS Strelizia as it appears in the currently airing series DARLING in the FRANXX.

Nothing has really been revealed besides this image although based on how it looks, it’s quite an excellent representation of Strelizia.

Good Smile Company has also teased their take on Strelizia as a model kit in their MODEROID line.

This collector has figure preference over model kits for more complicated designs like this one.

BLOG: THE ROBOT SPIRITS <Side MS> Gundam NT-1 ver. A.N.I.M.E.

THE ROBOT SPIRITS <Side MS> Gundam NT-1 ver. A.N.I.M.E. After releasing so many variants of the RX-78 Gundam, Zaku, and a bunch of MSV units under the ‘ver. A.N.I.M.E.’ banner, Tamashii Nations finally decided to expand outside the One Year War with THE ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam NT-1 ver. A.N.I.M.E. from Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket.

As expected with all ver. A.N.I.M.E. figures, Gundam NT-1 is very articulated and comes with a bunch of effect parts to replicate iconic scenes from the OVA. What it doesn’t come with based on the couple of magazine scans already out is the Chobham Armor. Knowing Tamashii Nations, it’s highly likely that this would be a Tamashii Web Exclusive.

Regardless, this figure serves as a good visual reference on how this collector can build and paint the HGUC Gundam NT-1 currently in the backlog.
