Here are a couple of announcements made last week that I’m interested in, but with no attached details or specifics.
Fresh from Japan Expo 2025 in Paris, we have the next entry in The Robot Spirits <Side SUPER> lineup, and it’s sort of a follow up to the Grendizer U releases, which had its first anniversary since its broadcast last year. Interestingly, I am still hunting the Super Robot Chogokin versions of the original Grendizer. But now that they’ve announced this version, does it still make sense to track that figure?
Besides the announcement teaser Tamashii Nations provided over X (formerly Twitter), they also have a figure prototype on display at Japan Expo 2025 in Paris. If you’re coming from the Grendizer U version, then this figure is definitely similar, albeit less stylized. I do hope this release will cause the aftermarket prices for the Super Robot Chogokin version to decrease, since I still want to track that figure down.
Ever since the first Fallout game came out, I’ve always wanted a 1/12 (or similar) representation of the various Power Armor models seen in the game. And for the longest time, we only had that one T-45 Power Armor figure from Funko’s Legacy Collection line.
Max Factory comes to the rescue with the PLAMATEA T-60 Power Armor. We only have this lone gray prototype image, which is still pending licensor approval, but it looks quite awesome. While I’m not an expert with Fallout lore, I am aware that there are several models and versions of the Power Armor and I hope Max Factory will release most, if not, all of them.
As mentioned, these were just quick teases with no release information, but I’ll eagerly wait for details as they come out.
