I think I skipped a month or so worth of packaging art so we’re back to cover September. And while this month didn’t have that many releases, the few we have are quite notable due to varying reasons.

First, we have the RG Hi-Nu Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack: Beltorchika’s Children. It’s one of the hotly anticipated kits for the year, and based on how there was an artificial shortage of the HGUC Nightingale during its release, we might see the same happen to this kit. As I mentioned in a previous post, this kit adhere more towards the bulkier design than the retooled version used for the HGUC kit.

And while I’m going with the craze of getting this kit right now, I’ll probably snag a copy sooner or later. Well, to display with my still unbuilt RG Nu Gundam.

Then we have HG Getter Arc from Getter Robo Arc, a series I’m really into right now thanks to the lore and everything. As for the box art, it’s a nice touch for them to stick to the same aesthetic of the Infinitism kits, with the bust of the robot as the main illustration, but with a simpler name bar on the bottom and without the whole metallic lower-thirds used for the Infinitism kits like the one below.

As for scale, HG Getter Arc is technically a non-scale kit though I would assume it would be around the same size as the Infinitism kits since I’m sure those getting this kit are the same market who got Mazinger Z, Grendizer, and the like. As for me, I’ll probably stick with my Revoltech Getter Robo figures unless Bandai Spirits decides to release every version as a High Grade.
