It’s been a week or so since my last update and I wasn’t able to make any progress during the previous weekend as I spent the time taking photos for the site. And since I am going out of town this weekend, I decided to make all the progress I can for these two kits within the week. So far, things are going quite smoothly.
After building the top half of Gundam Lfrith sans backpack, I placed my attention back to Gundam Aerial and started to build the lower half. It was pretty straight forward as the parts were mostly color accurate though you’d need to paint the supposed gray areas between those yellow vent-like parts.
What actually needed the most paint are the feet as some details are supposed to be gray while the front portion of the feet needs to be painted in white. I was able to complete painting these yesterday and I should be able to completely assemble the lower half later today. The same is true with the feet of Gundam Lfrith, though I also see additional painting for the knee armor and a couple of sensor-like areas in metallic green.
