Just as I was able to watch Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island in the last week or so, I also finished the double build of the HG RX-78-02 Gundam this weekend. As previously mentioned, my intent for this double build was to have two separate kits of the Gundam for both the Early Type and Middle Type configuration, as this kit isn’t meant to be converted from one form to another and is a choose one to build type of deal. The differences in both configurations are mainly in the upper sections, particularly the arms, torso, and backpack units. The Early Type also comes with a different version of the standard beam rifle.
I have yet to decide on the next kits to build and I will probably just resume detailing works on a couple of Robot Spirits figures. Though I am thinking of building some IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS kits next as I don’t want my backup of lead Gundams piling up more before THE WITCH FROM MERCURY starts in October.
