Time flies so fast and its now June, which means we are just days away from the most anticipated movie of the year, Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island. And while I did say that in a joking way, I am still curious to see this feature-length adaptation of an episode from Mobile Suit Gundam with a Gundam THE ORIGIN filter on top. So much so that I decided to have the HG RX-78-02 Gundam for my next double build. One would be for the Early Type configuration while the other is for the Middle Type, the latter of which is what we’ll see in the movie I believe.
It’s just the head and torso as always, though those side vents on the head are really shallow that any clean up I make on the panel lines just erases everything. But other than that one nitpick, it’s your usual HG Gunpla. I’m also not giving any self-imposed completion deadlines as I’m currently building at a snail’s pace. But I sure hope to finish these within June.
