HG G-Saviour Completed and Next Build Preview

So here’s a personal achievement. I managed to complete my build of the HG G-Saviour just as November ended. Which means I can still fudge a kit or so during the last month of this freaking year.

I don’t have the highest of build standards but I’m quite satisfied on how this kit turned out, especially since there are many parts that required painting, particularly on those huge side (skirting) armors. You will also notice that there’s a huge seam line running through both legs, a clear indication of the old school parts separation for this kit. I also painted the whole chest vent sections with gold instead of using the included foil stickers. So yeah, this kit is done!

As for my next build, I was contemplating on a couple of things. I still have an unfinished HGUC Narrative Gundam A-Packs if I wanted to go with the same incomplete mobile suit look theme that G-Saviour has. I can also squeeze a double build with my two HG RX-78-02 Gundam kits, both for the Early and Middle types. But I decided to end 2020 on a better note with the kit that culminated the Gundam 40th Anniversary celebration — the HG Gundam G40 (Industrial Design). Bandai Spirits did release a lot of 1/144 scale RX-78-2 Gundam kits this year, so crossing one out would be much appreciated.
