When I completed the HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Destroy Mode] build some weeks back, I mentioned continuing with another Psycho-Frame-equipped mobile suit with the HGUC Narrative Gundam C-Packs. After thinking for a bit, I decided to push for a dual build together with the HGUC Narrative Gundam B-Packs, a Gundam Base exclusive, because they are essentially the same kit, albeit the obvious differences.
I started with partial painting of black recessed areas, and the Psycho-Frame bits for the upper section of the C-Packs. I’ve did build the Narrative Gundam A-Packs years ago so I still have some familiarity with the assembly. Except that whenever I decide to build parts of the kit, I end up sleeping instead. I know, it’s a bummer. But when you have a 9-to-5, you can only do much before your body requires catching up on sleep.
Fortunately, we’re having a long weekend ahead so I should have more time on this dual build. Whether I’ll be able to finish both kits or not is another story, but I will prefer building another kit after this pair of HGUC Narrative Gundams. Especially since I’ll be out for a couple of weeks when I visit Tokyo in late November.
