While everyone has yet to get the recently released The Round Table Knights kit, the BE 1/144 Furious Warhammer – Galahad, SNAA has announced the follow up, and this one’s going on a very specific direction.

Two of the three groups of Knights have been completed, each with their own design aesthetic. And it looks like this third group is definitely having its own design language as the BE 1/144 Rampage Lion – Bedivere takes on a more beastial design, complete with a lion face on its chest.

According to the lore, Bedivere is one of The Round Table Knights found in the “Sanctuary.” It’s an extremely powerful melee machine equipped with multiple weapons to deal maximum damage. Compared to the other knights with hand-held main weapons, Bedivere has the Lion Core Cannon on its chest, with its output determined by the equipment it uses.

Just like all the releases in the Real Grade-adjacent Beyond Exquisite line, Bedivere has a complete and very detailed internal frame for a 1/144 scale kit. Even the lion facial details on the chest are part of the internal mechanism.

In its standard configuration and weapons load out, Bedivere uses two Cleaving Steel Claws – one on each forearm, and a single Tail Spike. It seems the Tail Spike is built with multiple articulated segments which can provide more display options and poses. The same is true with the Cleaving Steel Claws, and I do want to warn protecting your hands from those very sharp spikes.
The lore then mentions that the Lion Core Cannon has 60% output in this configuration. But of course, this kit has a lot more weapons in store.

Let’s start with the Lion Wrath which is a composite weapon mounted on the left arm of Bedivere. It has three primary weapon forms. First is the basic configuration which has three claws similar to the Cleaving Steel Claws. Then it can also open up to reveal the hidden Splitting Cannon. So not only does it do melee combat, but it also has several ranged weapons as well.

Its third configuration is used in conjunction with the Soul Devourer which is a semi-circular bladed weapon. You may also notice that it also includes two more Tail Spikes and you can attach all three at the same time. In this configuration, the Lion Core Cannon reaches 100% operating power.

Last on the list of melee weapons is the Crusher, which is basically a massive double-ended blade.

Here’s everything that comes with this kit, and it’s quite a lot in terms of accessories, not to mention multiple pairs of hands/manipulators for all those expressive poses. In addition, it also comes with a dedicated display stand. I don’t think all kits in this line up come with display stands so I do appreciate the inclusion with this set.

On that note, here’s the packaging and illustration for Bedivere, which comes in the same layout as all BE The Round Table Knights releases. And then take a look at the image below.

When I got Galahad a month ago, I believe it was the thickest box they had from the line. But Bedivere over here easily dwarfs Galahad with an even thicker box, which just shows how much plastic in included with this kit.

While Rampage Lion – Bedivere is given the SC-012 model number, it’s just the 10th release in The Round Table Knights lineup. Which means there are still two more designs left before all 12 Knights are completed. At this point, I can’t really tell the direction the next release will take but regardless, I have committed myself to completing all 12, despite not yet building any one of these kits.
