Here’s a surprise. During the most recent livestream as part of Code Geass‘ 20th Anniversary, Bandai Hobby announced they’re doing a new HG 1/35 Lancelot from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. I believe this is a good call on Bandai Hobby’s part since the Lancelot is the definitive Knightmare Frame from the franchise and it would benefit from all the engineering modern kits are getting.
Nothing else was revealed besides this single photo, but I will definitely pick one up. I would also hope this is getting a regular retail release instead of being Premium Bandai.
Going on a tangent, and in case you need a refresher, this isn’t the first Lancelot kit Bandai Hobby has released. They did a 1/35 Lancelot kit back in 2007 as part of the Mechanic Collection line, which was like a catch-all brand for HG-esque kits from other franchises. Following some brand consolidation, the HG brand is now applied to both Gundam and non-Gundam kits.
