For some reason, I’ve felt uninspired as I’m going through this double build. Don’t get me wrong, the kit looks great and all, especially coming off the original HG back in 2004, and I am definitely going to finish them. It’s just that I don’t feel any sense of excitement compared to when I was building the Mighty Strike Freedom or even the Rising Freedom earlier on. Maybe I need to step away from Gunpla and build other kits?
Well, that’s another question once these kits are done, but it doesn’t help that despite the modern engineering, the Chest Flyer still looks dumb.
Actually, I ran out of red paint yesterday, which I’ll need for the Force Silhouette, so I just went ahead and started building the second kit as the Chest Flyer and Leg Flyer. I guess, the uninspired feeling I have stems from the also uninspired transformation of the Impulse Gundam. As such, I would want to complete these kits as soon as possible, hopefully by next weekend or the one that follows at the very latest. I know I still have a couple more SEED FREEDOM kits on the horizon, but I would definitely appreciate something different after this.
