At the time of posting, it was recently announced that Akira Toriyama, known to most as the creator of Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball has passed away. I may not be the biggest fan of his works, but I cannot understate their influence as I grew up. I admit to being one of those kids who attempted to bring out my inner Ki to produce some form of “Kamehameha.”
We might have lost him too soon, but he is already a legend who left a legacy. A legacy that will inspire many more to pursue their dreams and become the Super Saiyan they need to achieve them. Thank you Toriyama-sensei and we hope for your safe passage along the Snake Way to King Kai’s Planet. May you rest in power!
