I spent the last couple of days building the HGCE Rising Freedom Gundam and while I do appreciate the modern nuances Bandai Spirits placed in the kit, I think I’m currently SEED-ed out and will prefer to build something different next. And to do that, I must finish this one so here we go.
The last couple of days were definitely not in vain as I managed to build a good chunk of the kit. In fact, I just needed to build the shield and the beam sabers and this one is done. That said, there’s one other thing that I did spend a lot of, besides time, during this phase of the build.
And that would be masking tape as you can see above. This is just for the white pinstripes that were included in the large sticker sheet. Fortunately, most of the additional paint needed was in the backpack and weapons, and there’s only one spot for the main mobile suit.

So, you could say that my energy for any Gundam SEED model kit is completely drained and I would prefer to build something different next. At least until the HGCE Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam arrives.
