Mobile Suit Gundam AGE marked its 10th anniversary this 2021. But outside of a themed area inside The Gundam Base Tokyo, it didn’t get much fanfare thanks to its initial negative reception. What’s not negative, though, are the kits that came out, which I would dare say, AGE’d well. So, as my final builds for 2021, I’ll be doing the HG Gundam AGE-3 Normal and HG Gundam AGE-3 Orbital.
Much like the other Gundam AGE variants, these two kits share the same head and torso units, so you are seeing doubles. But once I get to building the arms and legs, you’ll see more of their differences. I also left out the Gundam AGE-3 Fortress since I’m planning a repaint of that kit which would take more time than what I wanted. And with the holiday break just around the corner, I am optimistic of being able to put more time in completing this kit, hopefully before the year ends but I won’t hold my breath on that.
