With its premiere just a couple of weeks away, Netflix has dropped the official/final Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Earthrise trailer and it shows a couple of things, and faces, that makes things a lot more interesting. What it doesn’t show is much of Earth, despite being in the title itself. Anyway…
Siege left us with the Allspark gone and Optimus Prime, with the rest of the Autobots, marooned onboard the Ark to places unknown. In the trailer, we get to see more familiar faces, including the Quintessons, Nemesis Prime, hints of Unicron, and Galvatron. As far as the G1 lore goes, Megatron and Galvatron are the same being, so it would be interesting to see how this story takes those two characters.
