Following my relatively fast build of the HG 00 Qan[T], I hijacked my initial plan to build with a couple of Gundam AGE kits with the HG Gundam Exia Repair II to, more or less, complete my Setsuna F. Seiei suit backlog. The model kit itself is very similar to the original HG Exia albeit several new parts.
To which I’ve only used one as of this post since as the rest were carry overs from the original HG Exia, with some new paint applications. A prominent difference between the vanilla Exia and Exia Repair II is the absence of the GN Power Lines, a power delivery system implemented across Celestial Being’s third generation Gundams. These are represented as the light blue/purple colored parts in the original, and have been omitted in this kit.
I also went ahead and painted the all-blue shield since I considered that a chore when I first built this kit.
I am hoping to finish this kit within this week, weather permitting and any other factor that would prevent me from doing so. Then I can follow up with my original intent on building Gundam AGE kits.
