It’s Time for Flaps! HG L-Gaim Mk-II – Work in Progress #2

It was raining for the most part of this week, but I was still able to fudge progress on the HG L-Gaim Mk-II. The first thing you’ll notice are those large binders attached to the arms that dominate its silhouette. I believe they function in the same way as those found on the ZZ Gundam. They also are part of its transformation feature, though I’ve not transformed this kit since it’s not yet complete.

L-Gaim Mk-II is much taller than its predecessor, and it’s mostly because of the disproportionally longer legs, though it’s not a distraction to the overall design. The legs also have an internal frame though unlike the original L-Gaim, the armor panels on the Mk-II don’t have an opening feature. If you’re the type who paints internal details despite being hidden, then you know the drill.

I also built the backpack unit yesterday and one area needed paint. But other than that, it was very straightforward. For its accessories, I also built the Buster Launcher, as well as the normal Launcher. I would just need to build all the manipulators/hands, and the sabers and this kit should be completely done.

Oh, and I will try transforming this kit afterwards.

Thoughts?
