Continuing with this double build, my focus recently is on putting the Assault Shroud, or the parts that turn the Duel Gundam into the Duel Blitz Gundam.
Building the Assault Shroud parts were pretty straightforward, although you get more of the parts needed orange paint. Specifically, the large rear thrusters on those equally large shoulder armors, and the orange trim on the Blitz Gundam-inspired Gleipnir II. While both aren’t the most difficult parts to paint, the masking you need to do to properly paint them might be a hassle for some. And since I’m already building the Assault Shroud parts meant to be attached to the mobile suit, I went ahead and started building the Assault Shroud parts not meant to be attached, essentially duplicating the effort I just mentioned.
Once I complete both sets of Assault Shroud parts, I will proceed in building the vanilla Duel Gundam. And if my previous WIP is of any indication, this should be relatively straightforward.
