I know I’ve been yapping on my recent work in progress posts that I’m quite tired of building kits from SEED and its sequels. However, I recently got the Option Parts Sets for the Aile, Launcher, and Sword Striker packs and I really wanted to build them to have a 1/144 scale Perfect Strike Gundam.
And so, I did.
First and foremost, despite being recommended to be used with the Entry Grade Strike Gundam, these Options Parts Sets are engineered like Entry Grade kits. From the gates to the parts separation, they’re more of High Grade with, well, better parts separation. Second, following some consistent feedback from online reviews regarding how the backpack connector isn’t the most secure when used with the Entry Grade Strike, I decided to use the HGCE version instead.
The connection is indeed more secure, but it doesn’t help that the resulting Multiple Assault Striker pack is still back heavy and you will need to do some adjustments to make it stand. Or if you have a display base, then it will definitely help when displaying this configuration. With this done, now I can finally build something different.
