Quick real-life update for context. I’ve recently transferred jobs and as such, I’m still in the transition period and have yet to get a feel of how the workload is in my new company. As such, I’m mostly able to dedicate a good chunk of time to build Gunpla during weekends. But if I could manage to finagle some progress during weekdays, I would.
For this half-update, I had to build all four beam rifles, two for each Mighty Strike Freedom. Bandai Spirits has been smarter recently whenever they needed to cut corners on parts separation. They either skimp budget on the weapons, or for the less visible areas of the kit. For these kits, they totally did it on the Beam Rifles, granted they were also the same for the vanilla Strike Freedom.
For this weekend, I just need to build the original Super DRAGOON backpack unit, although I’ll probably need to paint the navy-blue parts since the Mighty Strike Freedom decided to have them a shade darker, but otherwise, this should complete this double build. Except that my extra head unit for the open Disruptor is still with Buyee and I need to have that shipped.
