I was initially supposed to say “completed-ish” build but at the time of posting, I’ve completed building the weapons and accessories of this kit.
It’s not called an Entry Grade kit for nothing as the built itself was a very seamless process, at least for a casual/weekend modeler like me. The areas that needed paint include the vent areas, particularly on the sides of the head and the knee armor, and the minus molds on the joints. Every time a kit has these minus molds, I kind of struggle on whether to fill them up with black, gray, or just line them up. For this kit, I decided to fill them with black except for the actual minus mold detail.
Now with this kit done, I haven’t decided which kit to follow up as of yet. Since I’ll be in Japan the next week or so, I was thinking of building one of the Gundam Factory Yokohama kits when I return since I will be visiting that attraction, and I will want to relieve that moment. In the meantime, I’m thinking of writing a post of kits I intend to buy during the trip but until then, what I’ll build as the last for 2023 is still to be decided.
