It’s just a little over a week before I’m finally going back to Japan after four years and a pandemic. As such, I decided to have a relatively light build prior to the trip with the Entry Grade Lah Gundam from Gundam Build Metaverse.
Having built the Entry Grade RX-78-2 Gundam, there should be a good deal of familiarity with this kit though the Lah Gundam isn’t as color accurate as the source Gunpla out of the box, a feature Entry Grades are known for. Outside of the typical vent areas needing black paint, other areas that would likely be supplemented by stickers on a High Grade would require paint for this kit.
Chief of them being the head camera sensors where I was able to source left over stickers from previous kits as I’ve been keeping these empty sticker sheets for potential use, like this one. The other areas needing paint are the vents along the sides of the kneecaps which should be yellow. Once I’m done painting those then it’s pretty straight forward. I’m targeting to complete this guy before my flight next week so hopefully my next update is with the completed build.
