The Mirage Oiseau’s Alright: HGUC Phantom Gundam – Quad-Build Completed

As promised, mostly to myself at least, I’ve completed the quadruple build of the HGUC Phantom Gundam, and rightfully timed to the release of the HGUC Ghost Gundam which is mostly a recolor with slight changes to the former. And coming from this quad-build, I have no intention of getting a copy of the HGUC Ghost Gundam anytime soon. But I digress, so here’s how this project ended.

Having painted that transformed torso block really saved me time as I only needed to assemble the rest of the pieces attached to it. I initially thought that it wouldn’t be a significant effort as it would just be the hands, legs, and the backpack. But it turns out those actually form a good chunk of this kit. Having built this torso block previously just saved me a bit of time as I still needed to do 70% of this kit twice,

I’ve practically memorized how to build the remaining components so it didn’t take much time to complete the final kit of the four: the Phantom Gundam in Mirage Oiseau mode with Phantom Lights activated. And while I still agree that this transformation looks dumb, you will be intimidated by this thing if you happen to encounter this in space, especially with all the beams emanating from this thing. With this, I’ve completed this quad-build, arguably the fastest I’ve done these multiple-copy projects.

Just in case anyone doubts I actually got four copies of this kit.

This build may be done but October is not, so I still have time to complete the other kit that can fit the whole Halloween deal. Because we can’t only have phantoms, we must also have witches.

Thoughts?
