That’s probably one of the lamest post titles I’ve created in a while. You can blame getting back into the groove of building Gunpla following a couple of months of my annual weather-induced hiatus.
My last update for the HG Gundam Aerial Rebuild & Mirasoul Flight Unit dual build was around mid-July. Following the aforementioned hiatus above, I’m restarting my builds with the latter half of that dual build, which I conveniently didn’t include in the photo here. Building the Mirasoul Flight Unit was easy and just needed paint on a couple of key areas. Unfortunately, I ran out of that specific shade of yellow which is timed for my annual staycation activity. That means completing that kit will wait for the latter half of the week.
But I didn’t want to waste the weekend so I got started with what I intended as my next dual build, HG Gundam Schwarzette and HG Gundam Calibarn, arguably two of the most hyped kits from the line. I just started with Schwarzette but I can already see that it’s quite different from the Vanadis Institute Gundams like the Lfrith or even the Calibarn. I’m also inclined to believe that I won’t need to do much color correction on both kits as they’re mostly white — which is also why I’m pairing them for this dual build.
Lastly, I’ve also obtained a copy of the HG Gundam Lfrith Jiu kit, though I don’t have a kit to pair it with. How about the Pharact?
