I had the intention of finishing this kit last week, but thanks to the fickle weather over at my side of the woods, I caught a quick cold which threw off my momentum. Fortunately, that only lasted until the weekend, and I was able to resume yesterday to finish the mobile suit itself more or less.
I built the backpack/integrated flight unit yesterday and it was pretty straightforward like the rest of the kit. The backpack is comprised of four thruster units (?) that connect to the central backpack assembly. And if you flatten their arrangement, probably for storage, the thruster units do look like butterfly wings.
Anyway, all that remains to be built are the Beam Rifle and the GUND Bits that make up the Escutcheon. I also need to build the right-hand unit that infamously made fresh tomato paste during the finale of season 1, and that comes from the Mirasoul Flight Unit. I’ll definitely build it following the completion of Aerial Rebuild over here.
