Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury is the latest ‘mainline’ Gundam series to follow Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS along with a seven-year gap. It provides a fresh take on warfare based on economics and mega corporations which are more relevant to modern day audiences. It also introduces us to Gundam Aerial, the newest lead Gundam to take on the mantle held on by its predecessors, from the RX-78-2 Gundam, to Gundam Exia, and Gundam Barbatos.
