It’s been a while since my last “Today’s Robits” post so here’s a quick one after a couple of separate Premium Bandai arrived at the same day.
First is HG Gundam Naion from Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury: Vanadis Heart, a kit immediately hyped from the moment it was decided to be produced. Now that the kit has shipped, those who’ve built it can confirm that the hype definitely holds true. While it still uses C-clips for some joint assemblies, the color separation, proportion, and articulation makes up for it. Just be mindful of those C-clip joints. You will also want to paint those metallic orange parts, but it already looks good out of the box.
And on the left is HGUC Pale Rider Cavalry from Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link. I haven’t built any of the Pale Rider kits though I’m aware that these would need a good amount of paint to be color-accurate. This came from a wave of Premium Bandai reissues and I was contemplating between this kit and the LBX Odin Mk-II from Danball Senki W. And unfortunately for me, I can only add a single item to the cart before immediately selling out. Between these two kits, there are more copies of Pale Rider Cavalry floating online so I should’ve chosen the other one. But it is what it is and I’ll just track the other kit in the after market.
