We’ll Finally See a 2025 Release? Hemoxian ✕ Naraka: Bladepoint ✕ Kunio Okawara Collaboration – 1/15 “Yueshan [Yinglong]” Model Kit

If you remember as early as 2023, it was announced that the battle royale game Naraka: Bladepoint will have a collaboration with prolific mecha designer Kunio Okawara to produce a very Gundam-inspired armor design for one of the characters in the game, Yueshan, as seen below.

Then some time last year, it was then revealed that another party is joining this collaboration, Hemoxian, to produce a 1/15 scale model kit of the Yueshan [Yinglong] armor. We’ve gotten some updates last year through the design conversion from the original design illustrations, to the in-game model and to what would make the most sense as a 3D plastic model.

They mentioned doing a lot of tweaks and adjustments to make the best model kit experience of this collaboration, and produced a working physical model, but it’s nowhere near actual production. But it looks like we’re finally getting something in 2025 as Hemoxian, over at their Weibo page, has posted updates along with what appears to be final samples of the actual kit.

To those not familiar, Hemoxian hasn’t been that long in the mecha figure/model kit business but they did start from releasing the 1/100 Thor kit during the time when Gundam-inspired kits were all the craze. It has calmed down since then and Hemoxian has started collaborating with other manufacturers and properties, the most notable being Earnestcore Craft. They even are working on a 1/48 Ikaruga from Knight’s & Magic so taking this one wouldn’t be much of a stretch.

It DOES look like a Gundam. Good thing the people at Bandai/Sunrise allowed this.

As mentioned, they have been working on tweaking this kit for the best build experience. And you do have several “layers” to that experience. Now note that this is a 1/15 scale kit, which is smaller than 1/12 or 6-inch scale. But since this is a large armor, I’m inclined to think this will be between the size of a High Grade Gunpla and something along the 160mm range. In its base configuration, the Yueshan [Yinglong] armor looks quite good with its red and white color scheme along with gold and clear blue accents. I’m inclined to think that a good chunk of those clear blue parts will be actual plastic though some, like those in the blade antenna, might be seals, or something needing paint.

In its next level configuration, the armor gains a backpack unit with clear blue wing binders, similar to those of the Freedom Gundam. I believe those clear blue parts can also form its spear weapon.

In its most powerful configuration, blue energy basically surges all over the armor and is represented by these Phantom Gundam-esque effect parts. They would initially jet out of the same spots as the clear blue parts of the backpack, but I guess this thing has too much energy that it basically does a Build Burning Gundam and you will see these effect parts all over the place. It does appear that there’s not much parts swapping or armor removal needed for this configuration, outside of the energy cables that go through its torso.

The one thing I’d really want to see on this kit is the articulation, especially with the character using this armor being a melee fighter, at least from what I can infer. The construction does appear to be similar to a High Grade but that doesn’t say the articulation is similar as well, especially when all those effect parts are attached. Either way, I’m still waiting for this kit to appear on the larger online shops, or at least check out reviews, before diving in myself. But I am interested in the design.

Thoughts?
