Whenever I take photos for the One Shots gallery, I usually set up my photobooth, or go somewhere with a suitable outside backdrop. For this one though, I decided to just go to the hobby storage room, move one of the tables and prop up two kits representing the tail ends of the Gundam franchise. On the left is the original, and not the revival, Best Mecha Collection 1/144 scale Gundam from the first Mobile Suit Gundam. On the right is the newest kit from the newest entry in the franchise, the HG GQuuuuuuX from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. 45 years in the making and for reasons I won’t explain here, these two mobile suits are more connected amidst the disconnected designs.
