If you’re set on collecting Good Smile Company’s MODEROID kits from Martian Successor Nadesico, then you must be aware that they still have quite the number of kits to release following the Aestivalis Aerial and Ground Battle Frames. Following the MODEROID Black Sarena they announced a couple of months ago, they are continuing the releases with yet another pink machine, the Aestivalis 0G Battle Frame.

While I’m not the most versed when it comes to Nadesico mechanics, I do see the similarities between this guy and two other pink Aestivalis units, the Ground Battle Frame and the core unit of Black Sarena as seen below.

Building on the same engineering as the previous Aestivalis kits, the 0G Battle Frame should be as articulated as those kits. For weapons, it comes with two Rapid Rifles, two Immediate Knives, and a Field Lancer.

You can also display the hands with the armor slid forward to be used as gauntlets. I’m inclined to think these are completely separate pieces given how the gimmick isn’t practical at this scale. Still nice that they included it though.

Of course, it’s not an Aestivalis unit if it can’t replace the system core unit, or the “Assault Pit.” And now that I’m looking at it, the Assault Pit of the 0G Battle Frame looks exactly the same as the one with the Ground Battle Frame kit. That’s why even the head unit looks the same.

Lastly, it comes with three Grasshoppers in various configurations, and these are smaller than the one that came with the Ground Battle Frame.
I’m inclined to think that, unless Good Smile Company releases another pink MODEROID Aestivalis kit, I should be done with my Nadesico collection with the Aestivalis Ground Battle Frame, 0G Battle Frame, and the Black Sarena. Not that I haven’t built my Ground Battle Frame so I don’t know what to expectwith these kits. But if it’s like the Patlabor Ingrams, then it should be fine with me.
