Hasbro has been killing it with their new Marvel Legends Iron Man figures based on the comics, all of which started from the Marvel 80th Anniversary version. And just revealed from MCM Comic Con 2022, we have another one that appears to be another great figure.
Hasbro has just released a new Marvel Legends Extremis Iron Man figure from what I believe is an Avengers wave. If you’ve been collecting Marvel Legends figures from a good while, then you will remember that Hasbro has previously done an Extremis Iron Man figure as part of the first Marvel Legends wave in 2012 when they took over the toy line from Toy Biz. I actually still have mine and while not a bad figure, there’s a lot to be desired, especially when compared to the recent Iron Man figures Hasbro has been releasing.
I sure hope Hasbro continues revisiting these older designs from the comics as I would definitely like to get a new version of the Thorbuster, the House of M armor, or even the version from the Ultimate comics which was universally disliked by collectors.
No release dates have been mentioned but this wave is slated for a 2023 release.
