SNAA has been on a roll with their The Round Table Knights kits, released under the Real Grade-derivative Beyond Exquisite line. Things have quieted down for a bit following the release of BE Lancelot, Giant Axe. But now, they’re back with a preview of next kit in the line.
The name card lists the kit above as “Giant Sword – Tristan” and the immediate thing you’ll notice is how it looks like a medieval knight, which is fitting of “The Round Table Knights” moniker. So far, the kits they’ve released are either Gundam-looking with angular panels with hard edges, or Zeon-inspired with all the curved surfaces. Tristan appears to be a combination of these two aesthetic choices.
I keep on saying I should start building these kits, but I still haven’t. So I won’t make promises though I’ll likely get this one, unless it comes in a god awful color scheme that it completely takes away my interest.
