I consider myself a casual Transformers collector, focusing on mainline or Generations-scaled Optimus Prime figures. I also steer clear of the Masterpiece line or similarly-themed third-party releases. However, I recently made an exception with Transformers MPG Super Ginrai, which I personally consider as a Powermaster Optimus Prime figure, because it scales well with my mainline collection. I don’t intend on expanding my collection to Masterpiece or Masterpiece-adjacent figures, but I do provide some leeway on my otherwise self-imposed collection rules.
