While no company wants their upcoming items leaked ahead of their intended solicitation dates, these do give fans excitement and hype, especially when pre-orders do drop. These are especially true with Transformers, and one of the items previously leaked was a modern figure of Vector Prime, The Prime of Time, from Transformers: Cybertron. And I guess he’s supposed to be revealed tomorrow as we got some official photographs ahead of the intended solicitations.
I assume he’s going to be called Cybertron Universe Vector Prime and he’s going to be a Voyager class figure based on the original. His design also stays true to the original with the ornamented elements painted in gold along with the clockwork details seen in his body as he is the Prime of time. He also has his unique Cyber Key that can be attached both to his chest and the hit of his sword.
Both the sword and the wings that become his cape in robot mode are made from clear green plastic. Speaking of wings, his vehicle mode is also quite accurate to the original’s Cybertronnian space cruiser. Even more clockwork details are seen along with the canopy which is also in clear plastic.
I’ll probably update this post once the official solicitations are up, along with release information. If you already have Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime from Siege, then this updated Vector Prime would definitely be a good figure to display along with it.
