An hour or so ahead of the official new Gunpla reveals, they did get leaked some hours ahead, we also got a new key visual and trailer for the upcoming VR theatrical feature Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom. What was revealed doesn’t add anything substantial to what we previously knew, but we have more material for speculation.

The story is set in U.C. 0096 and we see several shots of mobile suits in battle, and a couple of characters with some dialogue. There’s not much context here though towards the end, we see who might be the main character and their mobile suit.
This person looks to be the main character because of the green Haro inside the cockpit, which is sort of a Gundam tradition except for Gundam 00. Then we also see glimpses of a new (?) mobile suit.
Based on what we see, this is likely within the Delta Gundam/Delta Plus genealogy and many are speculating towards the Gundam Delta Kai, though this one appears to sport a different blade antenna. To those unfamiliar, the Gundam Delta Kai is developed from the Delta Plus and appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn video game, the mange Mobile Suit Gundam 0094: Across the Sky, and is tagged under the UC-MSV design variation series.
There’s yet any release information provided for Silver Phantom, though it is a VR experience so I don’t think people will suddenly get VR headsets just to see this thing. But we’ll see.
