Stuff on the Office Desk: Reformatted Prominons

I was supposed to post this late last week, but I totally forgot so here it is, with an addition.

I got Mastermind Creations’ Reformatted Salvia Prominon, which is their version of Solus Prime, around the time of release but I’ve yet to take its CATALOGUE Entry (i.e., photo gallery) nor have the figure on display. So, I did the next best thing and took it to the office. I also found it funny that the stuff I have on the office desk is getting good looks, to which I’m just telling them that with most folks on remote work, these are more or less who accompany me.

Salvia Prominon is a rather small figure based on their Azalea (Arcee) and its other repaints and retools. She does have The Forge which I found to be quite small, though very manageable for a figure of such scale. I decided to bring another Prominon to keep this weapon-wielding Prime company.

Here’s Optus Prominon, Mastermind Creations’ take on Optimus Prime as he appeared in The Transformers: Stormbringer comic book limited series. It’s also a recolor and retool of their Optus Pexus figure which was quite popular for its crazy levels of articulation while still having an involved transformation. Though unlike Optus Pexus, who’s supposed to be Orion Pax, Optus Prominon is a proper Optimus Prime. Which means he also comes with this massive Energon Axe, which should fit well with Salvia’s The Forge, despite the obvious size discrepancy.

Mastermind Creations has yet to produce a new figure that interests me, so I hope they’d continue to do more of the thirteen primes in the Reformatted line. Other than Salvia Prominon, they also have Seraphicus Prominon (CATALOGUE Entry: #4003B / Reformatted / Seraphicus Prominon), their version of apparently both Prima and Nova Prime.

Thoughts?
