Stuff on the Office Desk: More Primes and a Possible Change?

If you’re a Transformers collector, then you should know that we have quite a number of Optimus Prime releases in 2023. From Legacy: Evolution, to Studio Series, and even EarthSpark. And I have on display three that are clear products of their respective times.

That last sentence is something I just realized as I was typing that paragraph. Transformers: Armada came out in 2002, the game Transformers: War for Cybertron was released in 2010, and of course, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was in theaters last June. You sort of see three different aesthetic choices reflecting the times they were designed together, which I think is cool.

You’re probably seeing the Iron Man figure that seems to be out of place among the three Optimus Primes in front. That’s the Marvel Legends “Heroes Return” Iron Man armor that I got recently, and it made me think of changing the desk displays to another character I collect. And given that Hasbro has been doing a fantastic job with these modern figures of the comic book armors, I might bring some of those to the office and do some poses.

Thoughts?
