It amuses me that despite being over for several years already, we are still getting new content and mobile suit designs from Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS thanks to the Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS G mobile game and the side stories that come with it, including an official MSV series. And on the topic of MSV, they’ve added another design that’s supposed to supplement Gundam Hajiroboshi from Urdr Hunt.

Presenting Gundam Hajiroboshi Alector, an armored conversion of the vanilla Hajiroboshi intended for head-on combat. It’s not as fully armored as you’d expect when compared to a similarly equipped mobile suit from the Universal Century but there’s quite the added armor in several areas. Let’s compare it to the Hajiroboshi in its vanilla configuration:

The additional armor components are applied to the shoulders, forearms, knees, feet, side armors, and the central section of the blade antenna. Surprisingly, the seemingly fragile and delicate waist area isn’t part of the armored sections for some reason.
I’m not sure if these would be getting model kits as the previously released MSV designs are yet to get theirs. But if this one does, then it would probably be a good idea to also get the HG Marchosias and Hajiroboshi.
And because I apparently forgot to make a post out of this, here’s another MSV design based on a mobile suit seen in the main series, the ASW-G-XK XK. It’s a prototype unit of what would’ve been Gundam Vidar, mainly for the Alaya-Vijnana Type E system.
