With the buzz surrounding the recently released Transformers: Rise of the Beasts trailer, I decided to take home Blast Punch Optimus Primal for a possible photo shoot (weird choice, I know). Taking their new spot as my office desk display pieces are Alpha Trion and Orion Pax, part of the 2022 Hasbro PulseCon exclusive “A Hero is Born” two-pack.
As many Transformers enthusiasts already mentioned, these two are clever (albeit not really surprising) retools of existing figures and are a good addition to anyone’s collection. Both characters are also not that far off from the theme of my Transformers collection as I’ve already had the previous Orion Pax figures, and Alpha Trion is supposedly one of the Thirteen Primes — though I don’t think the same is true with the G1 lore.
Regardless, they’ll likely stay in this buddy-buddy pose until 2022 ends.
