Remember when they announced that the animated cutscenes from the mobile game Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Urdr-Hunt was going to be compiled, along with new scenes, as a theatrical feature? Well, just in time for the 10th anniversary of the series, they have finally announced some details, along with the release date, and an even longer title.

The special edition compilation, now titled Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Urdr-Hunt: Path of the Little Challenger is set to be released in Japanese theaters on October 31, 2025.
The story is set between the first and second halves of the main series and tells the story of Wistario Afam who lives in the Radnista Colony orbiting Venus. Venus lost to Mars as the next human frontier settlement and none of the powerful economic blocs has shown interest since, and is now being used as a penal colony. This is where Wistario encounters a mysterious girl who introduces him to the Urdr-Hunt, where the winner can win enough money to even buy a colony.
Urdr-Hunt was split into 12 episodes in the game and several tie-in Gunpla were released, including the Gundam Hajiroboshi and Gundam Marchosias. In fact, the final boss in the game, Gundam Zagan, is also getting a High Grade release in December. No international release information has been provided though I do hope it would be available around the same time.
