A couple of months ago, I got wind that designer toy company COOLPLAYFUN obtained the license to produce 1/12 scale fully articulated die-cast figures from the anime ULTRAMAN. They previously opened preorders for both Ultraman Suit [B-Type] and Ultraman Suit Ace, as well as teasing both Jack and Zoffy in the pipeline. And it looks like the latter two are now up for pre-order as well.
But before anything else, I just want to say that they really need to create better CG renders of these figures. I mean the white on them practically blows out any detail in the highlights. I really do hope the actual figures don’t have colors as blown out as these renders.
Starting with the largest of the bunch, Ultraman Suit Jack stands at 18cm and still has the same 30 points of articulation despite the more massive built. It also means this figure will be heavier compared to the others thanks to the die-cast content. I can’t remember if Jack has a special attack that would warrant effect parts since this set doesn’t come with any. I guess he’s mostly a brute strength kind of a fighter.

Then we have Ultraman Suit Zoffy which is more of your standard Ultraman Suit in this scale. It comes with the same features and accessories as the others in the lineup. Including over 30 points of articulation, LED light up features in the optics and color timer, as well as effect parts for it Specium Blade and Ultra Slash attacks.
As many are aware, the Zoffy Suit is basically a recolor and slight retool of the B-Type Suit design just like how the original shows were. And I think releasing it in the opening couple of waves does make sense to be cost effective.
