Hasbro has also concluded their Marvel panel during SDCC 2023, and this definitely includes new Marvel Legends reveals. And you know that I’m primarily an Iron Man collector when talking about Marvel Legends. Which means if I’m talking Marvel Legends now, there’s a new Iron Man revealed.
This is Iron Man from the 2022 tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns and involves a lot more magical elements than usual. Hence the look of this Iron Man armor having runes inscribed around the Arc Reactor. I’ve included the official hero spotlight clip below for your reference.
The figure itself appears to contain new parts, but I can definitely see reuse, especially on the torso. The chest though is definitely new as the Arc Reactor and the inscribed runes are sculpted details. The rest of the figure appears to be reused but at least we have some new parts.
And if you look closely, this wave brings back the classic windowed packaging that many have wanted ever since Hasbro introduced plastic-free packaging. Iron Man is also part of the Mindless One Build-A-Figure wave and comes with its right leg.
