Earlier this week, Hasbro revealed their new Marvel Legends Totally Awesome Hulk Build-A-Figure wave, which is also the first to introduce Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Photon from the upcoming film The Marvels. It also included figures from the comic books, including another Iron Man we haven’t gotten previously, and got me confused for a bit.

We are talking about Iron Man from the Heroes Return storyline, and not to be confused with the Heroes Reborn version that got a release from Toy Biz. This is because I was actually confused for a bit, seeing that this one looked quite different from the old figure. And it should rightfully so as the old one was actually the Model CE1 armor, or the Prometheum Armor, while this one is the Model 16.

If you’ve been collecting Marvel Legends Iron Man figures, then you should be much familiar of what you’re getting here, a highly poseable figure with a pair of replacement hands, and another pair of effect parts. I do like how they’re slowly, but surely, building their lineup of comic book Iron Man armors, including those that are yet to get the action figure treatment.

I’m totally getting this one since I’m already deep into this rabbit hole. I do hope they also release a modern version of the armor from the Heroes Reborn storyline since they’d look good together.
