BLOG: Bandai Hobby – Star Wars 1/144 AT-AT

Bandai Hobby - Star Wars 1/144 AT-AT A couple of years ago, a Plastic Crack post featuring F-Toys’ 1/144 AT-AT was made. The kit was part of their Star Wars Vehicle Collection and while these have decent amounts of detail, they’re mainly Gashapon prizes and not full fledged model kits per se.

Bandai already had the Star Wars license for a quite some time, but it took them a while before finally releasing the AT-AT in 1/144 scale model kit form. To those curious, this is how an AT-AT should scale with a Gunpla, both in 1/144.

Copious amounts of detail aside, the kit will feature articulated legs (?), comes with a Hoth display base, pilot figures, and effect parts.

  1. Unfortunately they did not include a 1/144 snowspeeder in the package…

  2. Yeah, I guess one can alternately get the F-Toys version for a similarly scaled snowspeeder.

  4. Fortunately it seems we are going to get the small snowspeeder as well:

  5. I don’t know the exact scale of these Vehicle Model sets but I guess it will do a good replacement for an in-scale Snowspeeder.

  6. I’m not sure of the scale as well, but based on the previous Bandai small scale models it should be 1/144 so it can get along with the AT-AT. Cross fingers!
