BLOG: PLAMAX JG-01 1/350 Cherno Alpha

PLAMAX JG-01 1/350 Cherno Alpha As much effort NECA does with its Pacific Rim releases, this is one license that many wished to be obtained by some Japanese company. And while not Bandai, Max Factory’s use of the license looks promising with its PLAMAX line of kits.

Opening the Jaeger releases is Cherno Alpha standing at a whopping 240 mm, making the life-sized counterpart 84 meters. Using data from the actual film, the kit will feature insane amounts of detail as seen here. Adding more realism is an LED unit built into the main torso to replicate scenes from the movie.

These kits would be best with weathering than the out-of-the-hangar look this collector does with his Gunpla.
