Current mobile suit design ‘conventions’ suggest that heavy firepower-based Gundams have a green primary color scheme, a color that doesn’t sit well with this collector. Fortunately, the Blast Impulse isn’t primarily green as the core mobile suit is black/white with blue and green as secondary colors while the Blast Silhouette is mostly green with some reds.

So here’s a color study of how a repaint of this kit would happen. The green parts on the mobile suit will be yellow for a more consistent color palette while those on the Blast Silhouette would be dark gray to blend with the black of the Impulse.
