BLOG: HG IBO Gundam Barbatos – Work in Progress #1
|Time to raise those flags!
Formally started the HG IBO Gundam Barbatos build by assembly of sections, as well as painting those areas that needed detailing. Already took care of the pink markings as seen in a previous post. This time, completed the paint applications for the shoulder armor — which include the yellow vents and black internals. Also did the tiny, tiny gray details for the face plate. This wasn’t hand painted but rather spray painted with precision masking… because reasons.
On an unrelated note, also did a couple of color studies for spray paints to use for the upcoming HGBF Cathedral Gundam and HG Gaeon builds. Still have to determine which is the best match for these kits. Speaking of the Gaeon, already found a way to build the head unit without using the foil sticker that would cover sculpted details. More on that when the build actually starts.
