BLOG: Box Art Extravaganza Acht (Part 2)

Box Art Extravaganza Acht (Part 2) Because Bandai is such a tease that they won’t release these gorgeously-looking box arts all at once.

Despite being involved with one of the more disappointing battles in the series (with the Transient Gundam as seen below), the Crossbone Gundam X1 Full Cloth was amazing in that skirmish. That said, this collector still doesn’t know how this version differs (if any) from the original.

And if all those images of the kit floating around the internet are to be the basis, then better start preparing those paints as this kit will need quite a number of them. This is especially evident in the Full Cloth unit and the its diverse selection of weapons. Though the kit also comes with a generous amount of beam effect parts so that’s somewhat compensated?

Box Art Extravaganza Acht (Part 2) Now here’s the second half of that disappointing semifinal battle with the mobile suit seen above. The thing about the Transient Gundam is that despite its relatively bland color scheme, it has this elegant and regal vibe that the lack of colors can be easily forgiven.

Much like any kit based on the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 aesthetic, the Transient Gundam comes with a slew of clear parts both for the GN Drives/Condensers and its weapon, the GN Partisan. It will also include a similarly colored display stand to further highlight its elegance.

This guy would definitely look good along with the 1.5 Gundam.
