BLOG: HGUC Delta Gundam Kai

HGUC MSN-001X Delta Gundam Kai Ever since the designs for MSN-001 Delta Gundam and MSN-001X Delta Gundam Kai went online for the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn PlayStation 3 game, many have been clamoring Bandai to release a model kit of the latter.

Came March 2012, Bandai responded though not to everyone’s liking. While the HGUC Delta Gundam got a release, many complained that the "unnecessary" gold chrome finish resulted in a more expensive kit. It also didn’t help that painting it will basically involve stripping the chrome.

Come December 2012, Bandai will once again respond, hopefully to everyone’s liking as the HGUC Delta Gundam Kai gets the release many have waited since March. And as with most transforming HGUCs, it will involve additional parts but needless to say, the design itself is enough to get Bandai the revenue apparently lost by those that passed up the Delta Gundam release.

  1. Whoa… :O Yeah, Delta Gundam Ver. Kai does look REALLY badasss! B| Just one thing though, hope the articulation’s fine, with all those extensions and all…

  2. That indeed looks like one complicated design… But I don’t think that the articulation won’t be hampered along the lines of the Ex-S Gundam… Definitely looking forward to getting this one!
